Pernod Ricard-owned whisky marque Royal Salute has made it’s the Flask Edition special bottling available internationally after initially making this a Chinese market special where it reportedly sold out immediately upon release.
A limited number of this unique expression can now be purchased at select retailers worldwide at a reported RRP of US$790. Unlike its regular blended malt expression, Royal Salute The Flask Edition contains a special 30-year-old blend instead that boasts a punchy 51% cask strength.
A unique collector’s item, Royal Salute The Flask Edition represents the perfect travel accessory for those on the go and celebrates our brand’s long history of crafting and refining luxury.
Originally launched as a tribute to the Queen Elizabeth II on her coronation day, the whisky is named after the traditional naval 21-gun salute that’s regarded as the highest form of respect.
As you can see, Royal Salute The Flask Edition features a limited edition flask that doubles as an object d’art. Penned by designer Afroditi, the exquisite flask is crafted entirely from sapphire blue British porcelain and comes with a smaller flask to decant the whisky into when you travel.
Designer Afroditi added, “I have a simple motivation each time I start a new project: I want to challenge the status quo. That’s why I was so inspired by Royal Salute – while all other whisky brands are content with glass, Royal Salute houses its whisky in precious porcelain.”
