The blend was originally extracted from more than 200 whisky samples, before being aged in first-fill bourbon casks. Finished for up to six months in former rye casks, the latest addition draws from the personal journey of master blender Dr Jim Beveridge, who started creating whisky over four decades ago. The full-bodied blend offers a honeyed sweetness, with a fascinating combination of whiskies from five distilleries including Dufftown and Port Dundas.
