Carlsberg launches Probably the Best Brewery Tour campaign

Carlsberg Malaysia has kicked off its Probably the Best Brewery Tour campaign this month for local fans. Part of the Danish brand’s 170th anniversary celebrations globally, the campaign seeks to reward lucky fans worldwide with the ultimate prize – a trip to Carlsberg’s birthplace in Denmark.

Just 10 Malaysian winners will be chosen for the global grand prize, which is a 6D5N all-expense paid exclusive trip to Copenhagen. Each winner will be able to bring a friend along on this trip that includes an exclusive tour to normally restricted areas of the Carlsberg grounds such as the Cellars, the Carlsberg Lab and the Carlsberg Academy.

However, that’s not all. Besides the 10 global-level grand prize winners, Carlsberg Malaysia will also reward another 300 first-prize winners locally with a special VIP tour of Carlsberg’s Shah Alam brewery too, with the firm promising a unique ‘ex-beer-ience’.

The firm adds each of these 300 local first prize winners will be able to bring along five friends to enjoy the VIP hospitality and tour of the firm’s Shah Alam brewery. This experience includes a personal chauffeur to fetch them from their doorstep to the brewery in a ‘luxury MPV’ as well.

Also included in this special experience is a party in the newly upgraded Probably the Best Lounge that now boasts iDarts, iPong (electronic beer table tennis) and a Karaoke machine. Lastly, for winners hailing from outside the Klang Valley, Carlsberg will provide accommodation for them and their friends at a 4-star hotel nearby the brewery.

The Carlsberg Malaysia Probably the Best Brewery Tour campaign runs from now until 31 July 2017. To enter, simply purchase Carlsberg 640ml bottle or Carlsberg Smooth Draught 580ml bottle, from any participating coffee shops, food courts, hawker centres and Chinese restaurant and KEEP THE BOTTLE CAPS.

If your bottle cap has the “Carlsberg Malaysia 2017” icon printed, you will win the local first prize of Probably the Best Brewery Tour for 6 in Shah Alam. If your bottle cap has the “Copenhagen 2017” icon printed on it instead, then you’ll win the global grand prize of Probably the Best Brewery Tour for two to Copenhagen, Denmark.

Alternatively, Consumers who spend a minimum of RM30 in a single receipt at purchasing Carlsberg or Carlsberg Smooth Draught from selected bars, pubs, hypermarkets, supermarkets and convenience chain outlets can enter as well by answering a simple question via WhatsApp or WeChat.

Besides these awesome trips, consumers who collect 36 crown corks with “Hop Leaf 2017” icon can redeem a limited edition Carlsberg bath towel while 12 crown corks with the same icon can redeem a 320ml can of Carlsberg Smooth Draught too. These exclusive freebies are up for grabs during this campaign period only.
